London is an awesome city, I love it here, it’s like nowhere else. It’s on a little island, on the edge of Europe in a mostly cold and damp country, but some of those things are what make it so unique. I think you haven’t experienced the real London until you have been here on a cold and foggy day. It’s great in the Summer to, but I think the real atmosphere comes in the Winter.
For a couples photo shoot in London there are a tonne of places I use, one of my favourite places is here in Shoreditch. Shoreditch is one of those places with a unique London feel, once haunt of more Eastend gangs than photo shoots with wedding couples, the cobbled streets and red brick architechture and are great to explore with couples to create some cool photos as we go.
Julia & Tom are getting married in Maida Vale in just a few weeks time. I just love working with these guys, they couldn’t be any more chill couple if they tried. We wandered around a cold, dark & damp Shoreditch to celebrate their Engagement with a photo shoot to document part of their wedding journey. The sun was actually out for us to start with, but it was cold, really cold. Julia is from Russia so a cold London day is probley quite warm for her!
I don’t make up any rules for a couples photo shoot. What I mean by that is everyone is different so every couple is going to interact in their own weird and special way. I want to promote that, and not surpress natural interaction by having a ‘photo shoot rule book’. I have my own techniques that I use and advice I offer to my couples, but I’m there to shoot unique people & unique couples, so that’s where my inspiration comes from.

I am based just outside of the city, I love to jump on my motorbike and pop into the center whenever I can.
