It wasn’t long now until Jonney & Tali’s wedding in Hampshire later on in the year at the lovely Rownhams House. I’m really looking forward to their day because I know it’s going to be tasteful & classy, and a joy to shoot. Rownhams House is a family owned and still lived in wedding venue in Hamshire, for the photos of their day check out their wedding story on my blog.
At first Jonney & Tali were not sure exactly what to expect when we met in Greenwich, London to celebrate their engagement. We’ve all seen some of those wedding photos where the couple have been awkwardly adjusted into place by the photographer. It only took them moments though to realise that I wasn’t going to be awkwardly posing them or anything like that, that just isn’t the way I work. When I first work with my wedding couples the most important thing I want to get across is that your pictures should represent you, and your relationship, it shouldn’t be false or made up. Everything else leave to me, if you open up and allow yourselves to be in the moment you will love the photos from your wedding journey so much more.
While they explored Greenwich enjoying the gorgous evening and each others company I caught it all on camera. Looking forward to the wedding later this Summer, in Hampshire.
I want my couples wedding photography to mean something more to them than just some photos from a day. I want the photos to be a record of their journey, not just from the day itself when their new journey together begins, but them as the people they were before. The Engagement shoot I think is an important moment to be able to look back on, you will trasure those moments, the ones just before you are setting out in life together.
